The Dorking Chamber Orchestra (DCO) are returning to St Martins on 15th October, with a Dorking Autumn Classical concert that is part of the Arts Alive Festival. The program starts with the overture to Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni, packed full of popular tunes.

The DCO are pleased to welcome Filippo Ramacciotti to be the cello soloist in Haydn’s cello concerto no 2. He is a fine young cellist currently studying at the Yehudi Menuhin School in Cobham Surrey.

After an interval the late afternoon concert is rounded off by Symphony No 1 in D by Gounod. This cheerful and interesting symphony was premiered in 1854 and considered to be the inspiration for later works by Bizet and Faure.

The concert starts at 5:30pm and ticket prices are £15 for adults, £7 for students and free for children 15 and under.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or on the following Eventbrite link. Each ticket includes a free program.
